Our Station

At 101.1 MHz, 52,000 watts and with transmitters in both Fort Erie and St. Catharines, Ontario, Z101 has the distinction of being the Niagara Region’s only home-based Top 40 radio station. A uniquely Niagara station with an international spirit, that serves both a large Canadian audience and an even larger one in Buffalo.

As an independent radio station we are not subject to corporate “cookie-cutter’ programming dictates therefore our product is crafted by a group of creative, hands-on, people passionate about great radio and about playing the most new music first. Z101 is not the norm, but the exceptional, playing the latest and best Top 40 has to offer, featuring specialty Mix shows showcasing up and coming talent, presenting fun contests with great prizes, providing the latest pop culture news, and focusing on content appropriate to all ages.
 
We take our service to the community seriously with street teams in both Niagara and Buffalo, and Community Events updates broadcast 24/7. Z101 actively supports, and participates in a wide variety of community initiatives and fundraising events throughout the year.
